Regulatory
The AAM regulatory environment is complex and multifaceted. Our team helped to develop the FAA regulatory approach to AAM and UAM. We possess unique insight of the AAM regulatory and policy landscape and are well versed with the Industry challenges presented by the regulator.
UTM
A key enabler for UAM/AAM to scale is the UAS Traffic Management (UTM) inspired systems that would support these novel operations. We are experts in UTM and the USS/PSU architectures developed by NASA to allow UAS and UAM aircraft to operate in constrained airspace.
Community Integration
Critical to the realization of the AAM vision is community integration. Unlike traditional aviation, AAM offers a new set of challenges across a wide range of ecosystem actors. With our expertise, we can help scope your community’s AAM requirements.
Infrastructure
Vertiport and infrastructure requirements are being formulated as this nascent industry grows. Infrastructure is not just vertiports, but also includes the Communications, Navigation, and Surveillance infrastructure requirements to support AAM operations.
Research
With a background in service in key leadership roles in NASA’s AAM National Campaign, AAM Executive Working Groups and having developed and wrote the initial FAA research gaps analysis, we have unique insight into AAM research needs. Our NASA SBIR Phase I proposal was selected for negotiation of a contract.
Strategy
We specialize in strategy development with specific expertise in policy and regulatory affairs. Led the FAA’s AAM/UAM Strategy Working Group for the FAA’s Air Traffic Organization and developed their Strategic Planning Process. Both founders played pivotal roles in developing the FAA’s AAM Strategic Implementation Plan and near term AAM Strategic Vision.
